The Difference is in Our Philosophy

Our mission is to enrich the lives of those in our care through love, encouragement, and respect of individuality.
Independence
We are committed to helping residents achieve their maximum level of functioning by promoting their independence. We do not believe in the indiscriminate use of physical or chemical restraints, catheters, or feeding tubes, except as a last resort to ensure a resident’s safety or to promote their health and well-being.
Socialization
We believe socialization enriches. We assist residents in getting up and dressed before breakfast each and every day. All residents are strongly encouraged to eat in the dining rooms for all meals and to participate in at least one activity per day to prevent isolation and improve their physical and emotional health.
Personal Dignity
For those facing end-of-life issues, pain management and emotional support are offered. We feel strongly in preserving a resident’s dignity and quality of life. Our goal is to keep our residents comfortable and free from pain and not to extend life by extraordinary means unless otherwise required by the resident, legal guardian, or responsible party.
On-Site Owners
The personal commitment of the Griffiths family to excellence in care – and their active, daily involvement in each facility – is evident in all aspects of Rae-Ann’s operations.
On any given day, you will find John, Sue, or Cindy walking the halls, greeting residents, and working alongside staff. Their presence enhances the feeling of family that permeates every Rae-Ann facility and creates for residents a sense of belonging.
