Rae-Ann’s therapists and medical staff have extensive experience with respiratory and IV therapy for short-term medical needs or long-term conditions.
Respiratory therapy can be required for such conditions as asthma, sleep disorders, COPD, emphysema, and other lung-related diseases. Following an initial evaluation by our medical and therapy teams, we develop a treatment plan that may include oral medications as well as tracheostomy care, oxygen, inhalers, and BiPAP and CPAP machines.
Intravenous therapy is the infusion of liquid substances directly into the vein and the fastest way to deliver fluids throughout the body. Our medical team can utilize IV therapy to deliver medications, antibiotics, nutrition, or hydration via total parenteral nutrition (TPN), peripheral IV, multi-lumen central catheters, implantable vascular access devices, peripherally inserted central venous catheters (PICC), and Hickman catheters.
