Rae-Ann Celebrates 45 Years of Exceptional, Compassionate Service

The Rae-Ann family of skilled nursing facilities recently marked a milestone by celebrating 45 years of exceptional and compassionate care. Westlake Mayor Dennis Clough was on hand at the anniversary party at Rae-Ann Suburban to salute the company’s achievement.

The Griffiths family opened their first nursing facility in Cleveland in 1974, dramatically elevating the standard of care for residents and improving the facility’s physical environment. Today, Rae-Ann provides top-quality skilled nursing, rehabilitation, assisted living, and memory care services in four facilities in greater Cleveland: Rae-Ann Suburban, Rae-Ann Westlake, and the Belvedere of Westlake Assisted Living in Westlake, Ohio and Rae-Ann Geneva in Geneva, Ohio.

Westlake Mayor Dennis Clough congratulates Rae-Ann owners Sue and John Griffiths on their company’s 45th anniversary.

Rae-Ann skilled nursing facilities have consistently earned high ratings, achieving perfect surveys from the State of Ohio and being repeatedly named “One of America’s Best Nursing Homes” by U.S. News & World Report. Rae-Ann has an 88% success rate in returning rehab patients to the community. Families of residents give Rae-Ann and its caregivers top marks on satisfaction surveys.

“As we enter our 46th year, we continually look for innovations in health care to better serve our rehabilitation patients and residents,” says John Griffiths, Owner.  “Our family surveys confirm the great job our dedicated staff does every day. We are proud to be a local, family-owned company and to continue the tradition of excellence that has been the hallmark of Rae-Ann since our founding.”
