We add new sessions regularly, usually monthly. Check this website frequently for new session dates or call Patty O’Shea at (440) 835-4000 for more information.
Classes are held Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Clinicals are scheduled from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Students break for a half-hour lunch.
Classes start promptly at 8:30 am and clinicals start promptly at 6:00 am. Attendance records are kept for all classes and clinical hours. If any classes are missed, make-up classes are available within 60 days. Students do not have to start over.
Tuition is $425* and there is an additional (refundable) $40 book and uniform deposit. Payments can be made by cash, check, or credit card. All fees are due before the first day of class.
Students receive their STNA certificates upon successful completion of the training program and upon return of class materials (books and uniforms). You will not receive the certificate until you have paid all class fees and you will not be able to work as an aide until you have the certificate.
*The possibility for tuition reimbursement is available. Please inquire for more information.
We provide everything needed, including a review session packet before the test, but we suggest you bring a 2-inch 3-ring binder, pencils or pens, and paper for taking notes.
Health Screenings and Background Checks:
All students are required to complete a physical exam, fingerprint background check, and a two-step TB test. The cost for these items is included in the cost of the program.
The fingerprint background check must be complete before classes begin. The physical and TB test must be completed before students start clinical hours.
